TENèFOLD
The name I gave myself to define all that is and will be my musical journey.
In order for this name to remain true to myself I want my sound to not intentionally reflect any one artist, I want it to genre bend, I want it to be edifying to my family, I want the subject matter to be beyond the surface regardless if this is unpopular among the masses.
This name derives from the first four letters of my last name, but divided by the "è" so that phonically may be pronounced the same as "Tenfold"and aesthetically writes the same since that "è" is lowercased dividing the word. In English "Tenfold" is an adjective meaning; ten times as great or as numerous, which to me should be how we all view our art. Our art whether music or visual arts live forever now, and should be that, a greater expression than what the standard is.
Preface: Every musical endeavor I've taken on is not by myself alone. My knowledge is pretty good but my technical application is nowhere near being able to produce independently. God saw the need in my heart to speak my heart and my experience and made it possible for me to do so through two close friends. So to Dylan and Bobby, Truly thank you. Unreleased and unfinished Music over the last 3 years, Insight into my life, lessons, and journeys I've traveled that have ultimately made me now, artistically. Ultimately I owe thanks to God who has given me opportunities and avenues to express these things and ideas to an extent past my own capabilities. Im a writer, a damn good one, and a curator of sound. All this I owe to the thanks of my creator and those he places in my life for seasons to mutually pour into each-other.
